Quality & certification
Manufactured to medical quality standards
Trip Shave Club is made in an in-house, medically certified facility. Here we show honestly what is confirmed and what is stated by the manufacturer only — without empty seals or badges.
Confirmed
Three standards that make the difference
These certifications are confirmed by the manufacturer. They define how the razor is designed, produced and inspected — from the first stroke to the last razor.
CE
The CE marking stands for European conformity: the product meets the applicable EU requirements for safety and health and may be sold within the European market.
ISO 13485
The international standard for a quality management system for medical devices. Production and inspection follow documented, repeatable and traceable processes.
MDR — EU 2017/745
The European Medical Device Regulation sets strict requirements for the safety, performance and documentation of medical devices. The razor is placed on the EU market under this framework.

From design to razor
Quality built into every step
The built-in gel makes the razor more complex than an ordinary disposable razor. That is why every stage is produced and inspected in-house.
Design & R&D
The razor with the gel reservoir in the handle is designed and developed in line with medical device requirements.
Materials & gel
Raw materials and the nourishing gel are selected and checked before they enter production.
Production
Assembly of blade, gel and handle takes place under a medical device quality system, with capacity for large volumes.
Inspection & testing
Products are checked for performance, gel release and finish before they are released.
Packaging
Packaging into 1-, 3- and 6-packs, with traceability of production batches.
Export & delivery
Delivery to distributors and partners in more than fifty countries, with accompanying documentation.
For your skin
What these standards mean for you
Manufacturing to medical quality standards is not marketing — it determines whether each razor does what it promises. For you, that translates into a predictable, comfortable result.
- Consistent quality: every razor from every batch shaves the same.
- A soothing gel barrier, tuned to sensitive skin.
- Traceable production batches — traceable back to the source.
- No aerosol and no propellant: more conscious, with less packaging.
