The gel is already in the handle — no separate shaving cream needed

A reservoir of nourishing shaving gel sits inside the handle of every Trip razor. It is released the moment the blade meets water and your skin: the razor glides smoothly while the gel hydrates and protects. One product, one stroke — no tube, no aerosol.

Video: how it works (20 s, no sound) What is inside the handle (20 ml of shaving gel, three Swedish steel blades) and the three steps: wet, shave, rinse.

See it in twenty seconds

The handle doubles as the reservoir: 20 ml of shaving gel, closed with a flip cap. Above it, three Swedish steel blades.

To the three steps

How to use it

Shaving in three steps

No preparation, no extra products and no waiting. Water is all you need.

Wet your skin

Wet your skin and the blade with water. The water activates the gel in the handle — that is all the preparation needed.

Shave in smooth strokes

As you shave, the nourishing gel is released. The blade glides smoothly and the gel protects your skin with every stroke.

Rinse off

Rinse the blade and your skin. The result is smooth, comfortable skin — without separate shaving cream or foam.

The built-in gel hydrates and protects the skin while shaving

What the gel does

Hydrate, protect and reduce irritation

The gel does more than help the blade glide. It forms a thin, soothing layer between the blade and your skin. That layer holds in moisture and helps soften the hairs, so the blade has to pull less.

  • Hydration: the gel holds in moisture and softens the hairs.
  • Protective barrier: a soothing layer between blade and skin.
  • Less irritation and fewer nicks — also suitable for sensitive skin.
  • Water-activated: the gel is only released on contact with water.

A more conscious shave

Built-in gel vs. a separate aerosol foam

An honest comparison. The biggest difference is not in the shave itself, but in everything around it: packaging, propellant and the number of products you carry.

Trip — gel in the razor

  • One product: razor and gel in one.
  • No aerosol can and no propellant.
  • Less packaging material per shave.
  • Compact: nothing extra to carry.

Classic — razor + separate foam

  • Two products: a razor and a separate gel or can.
  • Pressurised aerosol can with propellant.
  • Extra packaging for the foam.
  • A pressurised can is often not allowed in hand luggage.

We only highlight concrete differences (no propellant, less packaging, one product instead of two). We make no absolute environmental claims.

Compact all-in-one razor, ideal to take with you when travelling

Travel

One razor with you — nothing at security

Because the gel is inside the razor, there is no separate tube or can to bring along. That saves space in your wash bag, and there is no pressurised can or liquid to clear security. Ideal for hand luggage, hotel rooms and life on the move.

  • All-in-one: shaving gel and razor in one compact product.
  • No pressurised can to hand over or leave behind.
  • Works wherever there is water — nothing more required.

In short

Why this is a smarter shave

No separate gel

The nourishing gel is built into the handle — no extra tube or can.

Up to 12 shaves

The gel reservoir lasts up to around 12 comfortable shaves.

No propellant

No pressurised aerosol and less packaging per shave.

Skin-friendly

A soothing barrier protects against irritation and nicks.

The “up to 12 shaves” figure is a guideline; real-world use depends on hair type and habits.
