Cookie policy
Which cookies Trip Shave Club uses, what for and how to manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that may be placed on your device when you visit a website. They help a website to function, to be secured or to be improved. We also include similar techniques (such as local storage) under this heading.
2. Which cookies we use
We deliberately keep our site simple. We only use strictly necessary (functional) cookies needed to make the site work, to remember your preferences (such as language choice) and to keep your shopping cart during your visit. No consent is legally required for these functional cookies.
- Session and cart cookie: stores your cart and session during your visit. Functional, expires at the end of the session.
- Preference cookie: remembers, for example, your language choice (NL/EN). Functional.
We currently do not place any third-party tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Should this change in the future, we will ask for your prior consent via a cookie notice and update this overview. [analytics/tracking to be confirmed]
3. Consent & preferences
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, you do not need to make a choice to use the site. As soon as we wish to place non-essential cookies, a cookie notice will appear in which you can grant or refuse consent per category, and which you can adjust later.
4. Managing or deleting cookies
You can always manage and delete cookies yourself via your browser settings. Blocking functional cookies may cause parts of the site, such as the shopping cart, not to work properly.
5. Changes
We may amend this cookie policy. The current version is always shown on this page with the date of the last change. You can read more about how we handle personal data in the privacy policy.
